Named after Colonel Stephenson-Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing the world famous Kruger National Park, Hamilton's Tented Camp reflects a safari adventure of the early twentieth century, where grace and style were the epitome luxurious living.

Six luxury canvas tents, each sleeping two guests, complete with teak floorboards, mosquito nets, slipper baths, outdoor showers and a view of the seasonal river. Tents are linked to the main lodge area by raised timber walkways amongst ancient Jackalberry trees. The main lodge is home to an inviting lounge, scattered with early 1900’s object d’art whilst the opulent dining area adds to the delight of this tranquil spot overlooking the river.

Each tent has an en-suite bathroom with a romantic slipper bath and outdoor shower overlooking the Ngwenyeni Dam, private veranda and open tented lounge, mosquito nets, air-conditioner and is linked by intercom service.

Children over eight are welcome. Game drives are offered, or guests can do self-drives in the Kruger National Park.

Hamiltons Tented Camp offers an informal conference setup for a maximum of 12 delegates. Basic conference equipment is included. No cell phone reception.

Located in the Kruger National Park, 44km south-west of Satara Rest Camp.
