LOCKDOWN
Is Lifted !

13 May 2020

The PANORAMA ROUTE in Mpumalanga
is the destination of choice as soon as the
lockdown is lifted sufficiently to allow free travel.
Wide Open Spaces
Breathtaking Nature
Mild to Wild Adventures
Scrumptious Restaurants
Homely & Safe Accommodation
A Time and a Place to Revitalize Soul, Body and Mind

Mpumalanga currently has one of the lowest confirmed Covid-19 infections in the country, and not a single case on the Panorama Route! (Sabie, Graskop and Pilgrim’s Rest).

Many visitors are already confirming bookings for later in the year. Our venues will soon be overwhelmed in their efforts to accommodate everyone.

To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend that you make your bookings early for September onwards. Should the lockdown restrictions prevent you from coming, you can then choose between a postponement or a full refund.

Most of our Lodges, Guest Houses and Self-catering venues are now busy with renovations, upgrades and sanitation. They are patiently looking forward to welcome you back when the time is right.

Hazyview sunset

The name "Hazyview" aptly describes the hazy, lazy days during summers, typical of the African Bushveld whilst on Safari.

Kruger Lowveld Hazyview is central to the Kruger Lowveld Region of Mpumalanga, South Africa and is located amongst sub-tropical fruit orchards, close to the renowned Kruger National Park.

This site is a comprehensive Tourist Directory of the Hazyview area. It contains information on where to stay (with descriptions, pictures and available facilities), as well as what-to-see and what-to-do, suggested day drives, adventure activities, where to eat and shop, wellness centres and heath spas.

The site contains information on the fauna, flora and biodiversity of the area, and on the Birding page there is an innovative, interactive map for birders wishing to explore the newly established Sabie2Kruger Birding Route.
